My Blanky, My Mommy

You hold me when the nights are so cold.
Oh the warmth your presence beholds.
Warms my soul down deep.
This too I pray you reap.

When overcome with fear,
Your gentle touch dry all my tears.
Embraced close to me,
Where only peace and comfort shall be.

You are my hiding place,
Only one that knows my true face.
Where no masks are worn,
And new life is born.

My hero of great fame,
Living true to her name.
My protector so lovely,
My blanky, My Mommy.
