So glad that you'll be coming to our big, lovely state! Look us up on your way through. We are 6 hours north of your mom. We live btwn. Texarkana and Dallas on I-30. Our town is called Sulphur Springs. Not big on the name of it, myself. It used to be called, 'Bright Star', I don't know whose "bright" idea it was to change it from such a lovely name to one that's, well, not so lovely. Ooops...there I went on a wild tangent. Had to get that out : )~ now I feel better.
ReplyDeleteLike Melissa said, this is a big state. In the Panhandle tonight we are expected a 40 degree drop in temp & 1-3 inches of snow. We actually get quite a bit up here. The rest of the state gets a least 1 big ice storm a winter. I grew up in Iowa and learned to drive with snow tires, etc. Wait til you see how people here drive in snow & ice!
